As you guys may know I have been in the "roots" music scene for years, since 1979 as a fan and 1987 as a musician. While the Stray Cats were my introduction Psychobilly was my main genre of choice, luckily I lived in Los Angeles so I had a good helping of The Blasters, James Intveld, Rosie Flores, on and on and on ... to keep me balanced, but Psychobilly remains my biggest influence. It fills me with such satisfaction that the two of you who I feel are so respected and inlfuential in the roots scene have taken on this new task. To me it is as ground breaking as the news would be if Tom Ingram started a Psychobilly stage at VLV, in any case, I have played Stand up bass for so many artists of all genres, but this task you are taking on is especially close to my heart and I just wanted to thank you!
